The Design

WorldBuilder was a collaboration with LEGO that followed on the heels of Junkbot and Stack-it! and it took the idea building with LEGO bricks in a different direction. Rather than stacking them piece by piece, in WorldBuilder a player uses “recipes” to build, unbuild, and rebuild units like cars, boats, and robots that each have different powers and abilities. Part real-time strategy game, part logic puzzle, and part construction kit, WorldBuilder set records for traffic on LEGO.com and spawned two sequels. Plus, it features some of our favorite Gamelab music from AudioBrain.
