The Game

He's back. Junkbot Undercover is the sequel to the original LEGO sensation Junkbot. This time around, our bumbling robot janitor investigates the mysterious Project X while working to gobble up trash deep in the sub-basements of the factory. Brush up on your LEGO construction skills and help our hapless hero avoid new hazards and eat even more garbage. With 60 new levels to explore and solve, Junkbot Undercover is more fun than you can stomach.

The Design

The popularity of Junkbot led LEGO to commission this sequel. In Junkbot Undercover, we expanded the narrative world of Junkbot a bit with more elaborate cut scenes. We also added several new elements, like lasers and crates. But we didn’t change anything essential about the core interaction or puzzle-solving structure. One of the things we like about the Junkbot gameplay is that you can take as long as you want. And it was our first game to feature normal and expert level goals. It was so much fun to play with the level editing tool that almost our whole staff contributed a level design or two for the final game.
