Patrick Dorian Production Artist In 2003, Patrick Dorian graduated with his MFA from The School of Visual Art’s Illustration as a Visual Essay Graduate Program. His thesis project, Norman, a short stop-motion film, was given an award for most outstanding thesis out of his graduating class. Since then his illustrations have appeared in The New Yorker, The New York Times, Op-Ed Page, Playboy, The Village Voice, and T. Rowe Price. He has also worked as an animator and designer on animated TV series for CBS, PBS, Nickelodeon, and Teletoon. His illustrations have as well been used for commercials/advertisements for Nike, Country Crock Butter, Fangoria TV, and Mc Donald’s. Now, in his spare time, Patrick works on his short films and is making his first children’s book. He lives with his wife in a secret fortress of solitude located in Astoria.
